Disney already has one Star Wars TV series coming to their new streaming service – Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, and now they’ve announced a second: a “rousing spy thriller” featuring Cassian Andor, Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

In the official announcement, Lucasfilm reveals that the show will “explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.” It will be set before the events of Rogue One (uh, obviously). Here’s what Luna had to say about the news:

Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me. I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.

Quietly, Rogue One became a huge hit, grossing more than $1 billion worldwide, so it makes sense that Disney and Lucasfilm would want to expand on its world in some way. At the moment, there’s no official release date for the series, but the Disney streaming service launches with lots of content from Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel and more in 2019.
