Crockett Elementary in Midland Could Be Closed at the End of the School Year

MISD will have a meeting today on the future of Crockett Elementary.

According to YourBasin.com, because of low attendance and lack of achievement, Crockett Elementary in Midland could be closed down at the end of this school year.

MISD will hold a meeting tonight at Bowie Elementary to decide the fate of the school.

If the vote goes through to close the school, it's classrooms would be used for more overcrowded schools within MISD.
