Sometimes life imitates art. And as it turns out, Jack Gleeson, who plays Joffrey Baratheon -- the jerkiest king of the seven kingdoms on 'Game of Thrones' -- bears an uncanny resemblance to this bust of the crazed Roman Emperor Caligula.

Joffrey Baratheon is the son of incest, and as such it's kinda messed with his brain and given him an insatiable bloodlust for trying to kill his family members, actually killing his soon-to-be family members, and just killing in general. Before all that unpleasantness, you may remember that Jack Gleeson was rescued by Christian Bale in 'Batman Begins' -- something at least a few people are still pretty angry about.

Back in 41 CE, Caligula became the first Roman Emperor to ever be assassinated, which kind of lends credence to all those rumors that he was a crazy tyrant. He allegedly killed people for the fun of it, had sex with his own sisters, and once made his horse a senator and invited people to dine with him. You know, standard stuff.
