Building of the Southwest in Downtown Midland Now on the Market

The former Building of the Southwest in downtown Midland is now up for sale.

According to NewsWest 9, Midland City Council voted to start accepting bids on the abandoned building that can be seen in the above picture, its the short white building just to the left of the Firestone sign.

Mayor Jerry Morales said that with the increase in oil, outside interest is coming in for some of the property downtown so he sees the building being bid on very soon.

The Building of the Southwest has been abandoned since the early 90's.
