‘Blessing Box’ Creator Now Sets Up ‘Phone Booth Library’

The man who came up with the idea for the Blessing Box in Big Spring has now taken it to the next step.

According to NewsWest 9, Eric Escamilla is trying to do all he can to help out the community of Big Spring.

He is the creator of the Blessing Box where you can drop off non perishable food items for those who need it, or pick up food items if you are the one in need. Now he has created the Telephone Booth Library where you can drop off or pick up books.

Escamilla states that the Blessing Box is to feed your body and the Telephone Booth Library is to feed your mind.

The Telephone Booth Library is set up next to the first Blessing Box on 15th and Scurry St. in Big Spring.
