After weeks of auditions, showcases and the ominous Final Judgment, American Idol finally has its top 24 singers.

Surviving a Hollywood Week that included solo and group performances, 50 Idol Season 16 hopefuls performed for the first time in front of a live crowd and judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Early favorites 15-year-old Alyssa Raghu, quirky Catie Turner and young father Ron Bultongez all made it through. One fan-favorite who didn't make the final cut was Noah Davis, who had one "wig" of an audition moment with Perry in New York.

Next up for the top 24: more solo singing and celebrity duets before the judges cut the group down to a top 14.
