A 39-year-old America's Got Talent contestant took Whitney Houston's classic "Run To You" Tuesday night (June 26) and ran with it, earning huge praise from the judges and even comparisons to the late Houston, herself.

Glennis Grace, a native of Holland, seemed a little nervous at first, but as soon as the track began, her confidence blossomed.

“Ever since I was a little kid, I knew I was made to sing for lots and lots more people. I’m a bit nervous just to sing for you guys and you,” she said before the performance.

Grace's performance was so commanding, she earned affirmative votes from all four judges and a standing ovation. Simon Cowell, who delivered a rare smile, said he was totally blown away by Grace.

“I’m just sitting here thinking you look amazing, you sound amazing,” he said. “I feel like I’m looking at a star already.”

And Mel B's assessment knocked Grace off her feet — she noted: “it’s almost like you sounded exactly like Whitney Houston. I want you to take Whitney Houston, embody her, but then I want to see more of you.”
