He's just an animal, but then again, Adam Levine is so much more...

The Maroon 5 frontman was headlining shows and dominating radio waves with his band long before he became a ubiquitous jokester on the set of The Voice. Since the group formed in 1994 as Kara's Flowers (they'd officially become Maroon 5 later on in 2001), Levine's timber has captivated listeners, and his unique tone helped Songs About Jane rocket debut at the Billboard No. 6 spot. And with huge hits like "Harder to Breathe," the album eventually helped the group win the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005.

Now, five albums into their career — and with a rumored sixth dropping before the end of 2017 — Maroon 5, and Levine, in particular, show no signs of stopping. Above, we've collected some of the singer's most triumphant moments on stage, from a late-night rendition of "Payphone" to "She Will Be Loved" (and even a cover of D'Angelo's "Untitled (How Does It Feel)"). Check 'em out, tell us which is your favorite and if we missed a particularly critical Levine-moment, share it in the comments.
